At UGS, we offer state of the art sustainable technologies to help our customers meet their sustainable packaging objectives. Our solutions not only reduce our customers environmental footprint, they reduce cost. We’re taking raw bamboo, rice hull, palm, sugarcane and other waste and recycled materials, processing them into a particulate composite or pulp. The pulp can be made into a slurry for molded cushions and or trays. Our composite products made from agricultural waste can be injection molded or extruded into sheets that can be thermoformed creating a multitude of packaging solutions. All of our materials are 100% bio-based. The raw material is inexpensive and the production processes are generations ahead in reducing energy and water use.
